A Legend is lost

It is a gloomy day in our community. We've lost a mighty legend, but Ms. Tyson's will never forget her work and charm. Cicely Tyson was a pioneer in the acting and modeling community, a black woman who paved the way so that women of color would be able to get into rooms we were so viciously barred from.

May she rest easy and rise in the glow of the moon.
